Pake earns first career series win at Buffalo River

GLYNDON, Minn. (July 9, 2023) – Andy Pake dominated Sunday night’s feature at Buffalo River Speedway to earn his first win with the Superior Customs Red River Sprint Series and end Tye Wilke’s win streak at three.

Pake and Wilke led the field of 13 to the green flag for the first-ever IMCA RaceSaver feature at the Buffalo River Speedway quarter-mile and ran side by side for the first circuit until Pake edged out the Detroit Lakes driver to take the lead.

Pake then opened up a small lead over Wilke before encountering lapped traffic. Pake, in the TDS Trucking No. 64, extended his lead working slower traffic.

Wilke closed in a bit as the race drew to an end, but Pake went on to take the checkered flag with ease.
The win was Pake’s fifth of his career.
