Wilke remains undefeated with Jamestown win

JAMESTOWN, ND (June 17, 2023) – The Superior Customs Red River Sprint Series made their way west to Jamestown Speedway on Saturday night with nine cars checked in for action.

Andy Pake won the night’s heat race over Brandon Rekow and Tye Wilke.

Tyler Rabenberg and Pake led the field to green with Rabenberg grabbing the early advantage.

Rabenberg set a quick pace, but Wilke moved into second exiting turn four on the opening lap and set his sights on the Princeton, MN driver. Using the extreme high side of the speedway, Wilke raced around the outside of Rabenberg off turn four on lap four to take the point.

From there, Wilke checked out, racing to the win by 5.7 seconds in a caution-free 15 laps.

Behind him, Pake and Rabenberg battled for second. Pake reeled in Rabenberg on lap six and went to make the pass in turns three and four, but spun. Pake was able to keep his No. 64 machine fired and remained in the third position.
